FOR WORK EQUIPMENT COMPLIANCE
PUWER covers virtually every piece of equipment used at work. Finding PUWER inspection software that keeps pace with that breadth is where most compliance teams struggle. CheckedOK replaces the spreadsheets, clipboards and filing cabinets that manual PUWER compliance demands.
From a single site to a national fleet, it’s trusted by over 24,000 users with 38 million inspections processed across the UK, Ireland and beyond.
Engineers carry out PUWER inspections on any iOS or Android device. Tap the RFID tag, scan the QR code or enter the serial number manually. The system produces the appropriate checklist automatically. Notes, photos and voice-to-text observations are captured on the spot, with every entry time-stamped and operator-attributed.
If a fault or risk is identified, the engineer registers a risk assessment within the app, and the responsible person is notified immediately. A follow-up inspection is scheduled automatically to confirm remedial action has been completed. If the engineer carries out the repair directly, the system verifies they hold the correct qualifications and have been issued the right tools before work begins.
Inspection intervals are set per equipment type, adjusted by your admin team based on your own risk assessments and updated as your fleet changes. Every asset builds a complete inspection history over time. Who checked what, when, what was found and what action was taken; always audit-ready, always accessible through the customer portal.

Formal PUWER inspections and daily operator checks serve different purposes. The Pre-Use Checks app is built for operators carrying out equipment checks before every shift. Fast, simple and available as a standalone licence.

CheckedOK is built around PUWER but is configurable to equivalent work equipment regulations worldwide. Whatever framework your operation works to, your Customer Success Manager will ensure the platform is set up to match.
